Magic Hospital 2011 Quiz Night - Not even bucketing rain and storms could deter people from making their way to the 2011 Magic Hospital Quiz Night. Taking over the second floor of Schindlers Anglestalle at Sanlitun, more than 80 people successfully raised in excess of 12,000 RMB to support the ongoing work of Magic Hospital, while enjoying a great night out.

Schindlers kindly provided a roomy venue, discounted drinks and a fun, Magic Hospital-inspired menu. Quiz master supremo, Dominic Johnson-Hill (of Plastered T-shirts), excellently MCed the evening. Teams put their collective brains together to answer some tough questions, including ‘What does K stand for on the Periodic Table’ and ‘What fruit was presented as a gift to Mao Zedong in 1968 by a visiting delegation from Pakistan and was worshiped as a symbol of Mao in the late 1960s/early 1970s, and featured prominently in propaganda posters/material? (Answers - Potassium and the Mango).
