Spring Festival is China's most important holiday for families, and people travel hundreds of miles to return home for the celebrations. Because some children are too sick for the journey, Magic Hospital volunteers visited Er Yang Cun Hospital to brighten their moods with some special gifts. The younger children were given soft toys and leg warmers, while those a bit older received backpacks filled with coloured pencils and activity books. Around 80 gifts were donated in total.
Further gift giving is planned for other hospitals, orphanages and migrant schools around Beijing. We'll keep you updated.
